We are excited to see the Iron Container platform and the family of businesses grow.
In April of 2018, we were pleased to welcome Equipco Manufacturing to the Iron Container family. Founded in 2003 by the Acosta family, Equipco is one of the Southeast’s largest producers of compactors and other related waste handling equipment. The company has achieved its growth through a dedication to building high-quality products, investment in its people and community, as well as outstanding customer service. Equipco’s position as one of the largest providers of waste-management containers, industrial compactors, custom equipment, and parts in the southeast United States was a testament to the vision and leadership of Blanca Acosta and her team over many years. We are excited to join forces with Equipco and continue to build one of the leading manufacturing businesses in our industry.
Likewise, in October of 2018, South Carolina-based Nu-Life Environmental joined the Iron Container platform and family. Founded in 1979 by the Hendricks family, Nu-Life is one of the Southeast’s leading manufacturers of waste management containers and equipment. From its three facilities in Easley, SC, the Company provides containers and compactors, as well as hook lifts, cable hoists, grapple loaders and parts, service, and distribution offerings to its customer base across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, and Florida.
The future is bright as we continue to expand our services and foster our teams to build one of the leading manufacturing businesses in the waste management industry. With the additions of Equipco Manufacturing and Nu-Life Environmental, we are able to bring new products, customers, and geographic areas that complement our existing offerings and allow us to more comprehensively service customers in our markets.
